BigRock review

Heavily advertised in India, and the renewal is the reason to be careful · Founded 2010 · India

Our verdict

Widely advertised in India and easy to buy, but the renewal increase is among the largest we have recorded and public support feedback is poor. Read the year-two price before the first-year price.

$1.73 first term $9.29 on renewal

What we liked

  • Well-known Indian brand with local billing
  • India datacenter available
  • Domain and hosting in one account
  • Easy to buy

What we did not

  • Renewal is roughly 5x the intro rate, and publishers report worse
  • Support feedback is consistently poor
  • No free migration or free domain on entry plans
  • Upsells are heavy

What it actually costs

checked 27 Jul 2026

The advertised price applies to your first term only. Here is the same plan over three years.

Year 1 $20.76 $1.73/mo intro rate
Year 2 onwards $111 $9.29/mo renewal ×5.4
Three-year total $244 $181 more than three years at the advertised rate Check today's price →

For comparison, the cheapest renewal we track is MilesWeb at $2.28/mo — about $84.12 a year less than BigRock once the intro term ends. Whether that matters depends on what you get for the difference; read both.

Arithmetic on the published monthly rates above. Real bills vary with term length, currency, region, taxes and whatever promotion is live when you check out.

Who it is for

Honestly: few people, on the current numbers. It is here because it is heavily advertised in India and readers ask about it.

The renewal

Reported renewals near Rs 799/mo against an intro of Rs 69-149/mo. Even taking the conservative reading, that is roughly a fivefold increase. Compare it against MilesWeb, which serves the same market at roughly 2x.

What we could not assess

No testing of our own. The support score reflects aggregated public feedback, which is unusually negative.
