Ownership and name changed. This host traded as A2 Hosting until 2025, when World Host Group acquired it and rebranded it to Hosting.com. The service and infrastructure carried over, and existing customers were told pricing and logins would not change.
Our scores below were assessed while it was A2 Hosting, under the previous owner. Support and performance are two of the five things we score and both are exactly what an acquisition can move, so treat those two as dated until we re-assess. Noted 28 July 2026.

A developer on a budget who needs SSH, Composer and selectable PHP versions without moving to a VPS.
Pricing shape
Startup renews around $10.99; the Turbo tiers, which add LiteSpeed and NVMe, renew nearer $21-26. The anytime prorated refund is unusually flexible.
What we could not assess
We have not benchmarked the Turbo tiers against the standard ones. The performance gap is documented by A2 but unverified by us.
